Terms of Service
These terms are written for Caipi, an agent-writable workspace where adult users sign in with Google, keep files in open formats, connect MCP-capable agents, and selectively share hosted pages, files, apps, or SQLite viewers.
1. Agreement
By creating an account, signing in, connecting an MCP client, uploading files, or using a Caipi workspace, you agree to these Terms. If you use Caipi on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
Caipi is operated by Paul-Louis Pröve, Eppendorfer Weg 64, 20259 Hamburg, Germany. Some features may change, break, or be removed as the service develops.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Caipi.
2. Accounts and sign-in
Caipi uses Google Sign-In for authentication. You are responsible for the Google account you use, the workspace URL you claim, and any activity performed through your session or authorized MCP clients.
Each Google account currently maps to one Caipi workspace. Workspace names must follow Caipi's naming rules and may not impersonate another person, brand, or service.
3. Your workspace and files
Your workspace can contain notes, documents, HTML pages, dashboards, small apps, SQLite databases, uploads, and other assets. Caipi is designed around open, exportable files.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Caipi the limited rights needed to store, process, render, publish, transmit, and back up your content so the service can operate.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, safety, and rights status of files, apps, databases, prompts, outputs, and uploads in your workspace.
4. Personal data and sensitive data
Caipi is not intended to be a system of record for personal data about other people, and it is not intended for sensitive, regulated, confidential, or high-risk data.
Do not store, upload, publish, or connect agents to sensitive or regulated data such as health data, biometric data, government identifiers, payment card data, financial account credentials, passwords, secrets, children's data, criminal-offense data, trade secrets, or data revealing race or ethnic origin, political opinions, religion, trade-union membership, sex life, or sexual orientation.
If you choose to store or share personal data despite this limitation, you are responsible for having the rights, permissions, notices, and lawful basis required for that data and for keeping it private unless you intentionally publish it.
5. Agent and MCP access
Caipi lets MCP-capable agents and tools read from and write to your workspace after authorization. When you authorize an MCP client, you are allowing that client to act on your workspace according to the permissions and product behavior available at the time.
You are responsible for the agents, tools, models, prompts, and instructions you connect to Caipi. Caipi does not control third-party AI services or guarantee their output.
Connected agents may make mistakes, expose content, overwrite files, publish files, create apps, or send workspace data to third-party services according to the instructions and permissions you give them. Review agent actions and disconnect tools you no longer trust.
6. Sharing, publishing, and hosted apps
Workspaces are private by default. You or your agents can make individual files or folders public or protected, depending on the available visibility settings.
Public files, public folders, public SQLite viewers or app endpoints, and public/protected hosted pages may be accessed by people outside your account. Do not publish anything unless you have the right to share it and are comfortable with others viewing, copying, downloading, scraping, or using it.
Shared files, pages, apps, databases, links, and uploads are provided by the workspace owner or their authorized tools, not by Caipi. Caipi does not pre-screen, endorse, verify, or guarantee user-shared content.
Caipi may remove, restrict, disable, or de-index content or apps that appear to violate these Terms, create security risk, harm the service, infringe rights, or expose other users to abuse.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Caipi to break the law, violate others' rights, host malware, phish, spam, scrape abusively, attack systems, evade access controls, publish illegal or harmful content, or misrepresent who operates a workspace, file, viewer, or hosted app.
You may not interfere with Caipi's infrastructure, overload the service, probe private user data, bypass visibility controls, or use public app APIs in a way that harms the service or other users.
You may not use Caipi for regulated production workloads, emergency services, medical care, legal advice, financial decisions, employment decisions, credit decisions, housing decisions, or other high-stakes decisions where errors could cause material harm.
8. AI-generated content
Caipi stores and renders work that may be produced by AI systems. You should review outputs before relying on them, publishing them, or using them for consequential decisions.
Caipi is not a substitute for professional advice in legal, medical, financial, safety, employment, or other high-stakes domains.
9. Export, cancellation, and deletion
Caipi is designed so your files remain inspectable and portable in open formats such as Markdown, HTML, SQLite, PDF, and uploaded assets.
At this stage, export and deletion may be handled manually. You can request help exporting workspace files, deleting an account, revoking access, or removing published URLs by emailing caipi@plpp.de from the email address associated with your account.
After deletion or removal, copies may remain in backups, logs, caches, abuse-prevention records, or records needed for legal, security, or operational reasons for up to 30 days unless a longer period is required by law.
10. Service changes and availability
Caipi may change features, limit access, add or remove integrations, impose usage limits, or suspend parts of the service as needed for reliability, security, abuse prevention, or product development.
The service may not be available at all times. Caipi may suspend or terminate access if needed to protect the service, comply with law, respond to abuse, or manage the service.
11. Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Caipi is provided as is and as available, without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Caipi and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of goodwill, service interruption, or errors by users, agents, third-party tools, or AI systems.
You agree to defend and hold Caipi and its operator harmless from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your workspace content, your published files or apps, your connected agents, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights, to the extent allowed by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including mandatory consumer rights.
12. Law, disputes, and notices
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you additional rights in your country of residence.
Before bringing a formal claim, please email caipi@plpp.de so the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved informally.
Reports about abuse, security issues, illegal content, intellectual-property concerns, privacy concerns, or harmful shared apps should include the relevant URL and enough context for Caipi to review the issue.
